Time to talk


Welcome to Time to Talk, an ‘open space’ peer support and social group where members can discuss general topics and issues of their choosing.

We are a non judgemental and friendly group that is every Wednesday between 3.15pm – 5.15pm. Our aim is to help people with mental health issues discuss their thoughts and feelings about life, including personal issues and problems, with the support and encouragement of the group.

Along with personal topics, we also discuss current events happening in the wider world and have plenty of good times and laughter too.

With a focus on building your confidence and self-esteem, Time to Talk helps improve your social skills and integration and how to communicate your thoughts and needs to family, friends and professionals alike. Through this, members build a better sense of self and learning more about the experience of others.

If you are new or lack the confidence to share, please don’t worry,. Time to Talk will make you feel welcome and you don’t have to talk or share until you feel comfortable enough to do so,. It is therefore fine to just listen to the conversation and we’ll always ensure that we make you feel at home.
